Hi All,
My EAD expired in last October and I am still working on H1 ...when I renew EAD which option I have to choose while applying for EAD...is it Renewal or a Fresh one?

The icons can all be found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows Phone\v7.0\Icons
You can just drag and drop the icon you want into Blend or explicitly add it via the Projects panel :)
Your question on connecting to an XML data source is interesting because there are several ways of doing this. One approach is by using Linq and just parsing the output.

* How do I use a wp7 icon (from the icon pack) as a clickable button? I have an input search TextBox, but instead of using a simple button control (for the click event) I would like to use the magnifying glass icon as the search button --something similar to how Bing (on WP7) uses the mic in the search box. Since on 2nd July they said they will reject the AOS application, what if they would have done some rejection during that time, and by the time July filers get their application back, it is after 17th of August. In that circumstance, can you send the AOS application back arguing USCIS's mistake and ask them to take it back after 08/17 and would they take it back politely or reject it again.

He called the incident a "stupid mistake," explaining that he had carried the gun while traveling through his district during a congressional recess and forgot it was in his bag. Hostettler's own actions appear to contradict his hardline no-holds-barred enforcement approach towards immigration. I got promoted to Manager but my GC is applied for a Consultant 2 position (Developer Job Description). My Lawyers do not think it is an issue since it has been more than 6 months of my 485 application.

I had a 10 year multiple entry B1/B2 visa which was to expire in 2013. I got married a couple of months ago, and since my husband is on a H1B, I got a H4 visa for the next 1.5 years. My passport with the B1/B2 visa DOES NOT have CWOP (Canceled without prejudice) written on it. My question is- has my B1/B2 visa been canceled? Or is it still valid? Can I hold 2 visas for entry into the US at the same time. If it has not been canceled, can I still use it for entry into the US once I lose my H4 status? Thank you for your time.

What is "Letter of Acquirement’
Can you please tell me what is "Letter of Acquirement’'
My company is Acquired too, the New Employer just gave me a Letter Copy
explaining the Merger, NO Official docs were shared with me.
From whom did u get this letter.
No need of new H1 if company 'B's' HR has agreed to continue with 'A''s employees.
1. Get a EVL letter from company 'B'. (This is assuming name of 'A' will change to 'B' or new name.
2. You need to get a "Letter of Acquirement" from HR of new company (I am assuming that the name of the company is changing as well). If name does not change then you should be fine. If you have to travel out of US, you need to carry latest copy of EVL(of new company) and "Letter of Acquirement" along with you. (I went thru these few years back, PwCC bought over by IBM, immediately after the takeover I travelled out of US and came back without any problems(on H1)) this was quite a while back though, you may want to check with your company attorney though.
Note:

Don't go for the ICICI home loan. They are the first ones to increase the interest rate when ever theres a RBI changes the base rate. And the last one to decrease the interest rate when ever there's a base rate change. And some times they don't decrease at all.
They start charging higher interest rate than the fore said rate once you taken the loan from them. On top of it they charge 2% extra for the prepayment amounts. Best is SBI.

Hi Friends,
I am an July 2007 485 filer and did the biometrics within couple of months after that. Last year applied EAD and AP by paper filing so there was no biometrics.
May be its my wild hope... still..
If by any magic the processing dates moved by Oct. 2009 and I am current(:) I know its very little chance), as I am planning to apply my AP renewals now, is it good to do e-filing since it will trigger to do the biometrics also and there won't be any delay in the form of RFE's in regards to fingerprinting expiry or so?

I only went for biometrics 1 time in Oct 2007. TSC used the photo and FPs from my biometrics appointment for my EAD as I did not mail them any photos. So its not necessary that you will be called for finger printing when you e-file. If they have your photo and FPs digitally stored, they will use them. I assume they would do the same if your PD becomes current.

My experience says dont worry unless someone else comes back and say they had issues with different A#s on 140 and 485. I had applied for EAD and AP on the A# of 485 and was approved. Finally my GC has the A# on 485.

I'm in the same position as yourself - TN currently, H1 approved for Oct 1. Even if my visa # becomes current, I am waiting until Oct 1 to file 485, so that I'll be on H1 at that point and I don't have to risk being out of status for even 1 second (in the eyes of USCIS) btwn TN & HI taking effect. I am planning a trip home early August, so I only have to wait an additional 1.5 months for that peace of mind-open visa # window, pending...
Just my $.02 worth, but if I were in your shoes, I'd be concerned that USCIS will consider your 485 abandoned when you leave the US while on your TN. Even though you wouldn't have worked btwn status change, I think they consider your "TN status" on-and-off, as come and go from the US - so that once you leave the US, you wouldn't have any "status" left to adjust... H1's (as dual intent) have a provision that allow you to come and go from the US without having abandoned a 485 application... The many people in the past who have successfully completed 485's while on TN's, were able to renew their TN and submit 485 immediately, stay in the US until their EAD/AP arrived and then leave at will, re-entering on 485-pending status via their approved EAD.
Again, just my weekend warrior opinion! Best wishes with it, at any rate!

Something does not sound right here. How can the employer "misplace" the upper portion of the approval notice? In the first place, why did he even separate the upper portion and the lower portion? He is supposed to give you the entire document as a single piece of paper.
Some thing really does not sound right here. By law, he is required to give you the approval notice.
I believe that Uppoer portion of the notice is to be retained by the mployer but they usually make a copy and give you the entire 797 for stamping ,technically they are not supposed to give you the upper portion.
