It better be 64-bit, and be multi-core and thread aware. Open cl support too.
It also needs a severe makeover, and avchd native support.
The performance of FCP also needs some serious attention. I think apple needs to move away from using QuickTime 7 as the base for the program.
Using the same exact media on my Drobo S, the playback performance is like butter on Avid MediaComposer 5 when compared to Final Cut. The difference is really pathetic actually. Apple better have something good this time. The last update was mediocre at best.

Today, I updated my iPad 2 (Verizon) to 4.3.2. Before doing so, I ran tinyumbrella to save SHSH, and while it successfully saved the blob for 4.3.1, it gave me an error for 4.3.2: you are just too late.
How is this possible? Isn't 4.3.2 the current build? I successfully upgraded to 4.3.2, which means Apple must still be signing it. I ran tinyumbrella again post-upgrade; same error.
Am I doing something wrong?

You can't seriously think that professionals are going to depend on Photoshop for iPad and throw away their computer can you?

Flip side: You can't seriously think that professionals are going to haul around a 27" monitor, full keyboard, stylus & tablet, quadcore i7, multi-terabyte desktop computer can you?
iPad naysayers keep missing the point: it's not a "computer replacement", it's an anytime/anywhere device to augment a serious computer. If you need [some of] Photoshop right now, just get out the easy-carry tablet and do a reasonable approximation of what you can do perfectly with that office/home behemoth, and either be content with "good enough" or do the refinements when you get back.

Many forum members here in the past have claimed that these methods also fall under the classification of torture, so what if information obtained using these methods led to the death of O.B.L.?It would simply indicate a failure of intelligence, and would invalidate any trial evidence. I mean, what about saying..."omg...that is sooo gay" when describing a non-cool object or situation. Is that "gay bashing" too? I mean, this is getting to such a point where you can say anything that "might" offend some overlysensitive person...becomes a racist, sexual harrassment, hate, etc offense. I mean, some things are understood to be coloquial amoung pop culture.
I hear what you are saying, and I certainly didn't mean to imply that I'm not guilty of the same things. I've been using "gay" as a negative adjective for 30 years, like a lot of other people. But every time I do it, I think of what my very close gay friends would say about me using it that way. Whether they specifically would be offended by it is one thing, but the point is that it just isn't right to commandeer that word and use it as an insult or detractor when there really is no reason that it should be.
In this case, maybe you, me, and all of us need to work on changing pop culture and getting it out of a grade-school mentality. As long as Kobe was fined because he did a piss-poor job of acting professionally and as a role model rather than just "hurting the ref's feelings," that's a start.

As a ballroom dancer, my partner and I have to listen to the same music but can't both be teathered to ear buds. With a 4g Itouch playing to her bluetooth headset, would I also get a signal out of the headphones port so that I remain teathered to the buds, or does that port get turned off when BT is in operation?
OR, does ayone know if the Itouch can talk to two BT headphones at the same time?

I tried stamping that pole out thats in front of the car but after comparing the photos it didn't look right to me. So I just left it. Screw it. I also tried that radial gradient tool to get that kind of sun flare effect. I don't think I'm doing it right.

there was supposed to be a mass exodus when the Verizon iPhone was reeased as well/ It was not as many as the analysts expected. I doubt there will be a mass exodus for this either becasue the majority of people are sheep. They might get mad for a moment, but eventually they will justify staying and that will be it. Making a stand is hard, conforming is easy.
There may not be a "mass exodus" but you can rest assured that my family (4 of us) will be switching to Verizon and joining my Dad (who currently is with Verizon) as of July 1st. :D
