I wanted to find about pre approved or pre adjudicated case, We have been hearing the same more often in the forum, so out of curiosity i opened a Service Request.
I kind of have a good relation ship with the former employer, worked with them for 4 years. I just called my company HR and he said he does not know my name is on withdrawn list but he will check the list and let me know tomorrow.

The officer in the local USCIS office will be able to give more details about your case.

So why isnt EB3 India moving at all ?
Even bigger news is that "Other Workers" have become Unavailable for the whole world.
It furthers strengthens the theory that good number of 245i's are EW category and not in the regular EB3 category.
This hypothesis is further supported by the fact that all EB3 dates have been sustained above May 1st for a few months now.

Based on my receipt numbers and looking up on USCIS website, it appears my AOS application that was sent to NSC has been sent to California Center. I have not seen anybody's case being sent to CSC. Dunno how good or bad it is and whether it sppeds up/delays my EAD processing. Anybody had experience with CSC and got any of EAD/AP/GC approved from CSC.

I added some facts about how much I paid in SSN, Medicare, Fed and State taxes (in the last 10 years that I have been here) as well as some detail about what I'm contributing (patent pending) to this country. Another thing I mentioned was about my volunteering during the 2008 campaign (implying that I would be voting for the president's party if I ever become a US citizen in 2050 :~).

Exactly. God foribid we lose our jobs. Before and after this announcement we are one bad earnings quarter away from being shipped back home. Its hard to enjoy life with stress like this.

I am not sure what a_to_z_Gc is looking for more details, but I would like to now if your case was transferred from NSC to CSC and back.
Those whose cases have transferred back to NSC have not received the FP notices. I would like to know if your case was transferred back to NSC.
My case was transferred from NSC to CSC, and then to TSC. I guess its because my I-140 was approved by TSC. I got my FP notices from TSC.

Was this is a change in the procedures of USCIS? If yes, could we not request them to increase the length of the EAD from 1 to 5 years? This will help many of us too. I need to get my DL renewed every year along with the EAD.
Well there was court case related what constitues the 6 years where court said that only period of stay on H1b in US (so period of stay outside US on H1b) doesnt count.
So the law didnt change its the interpreation of law that was changed by the court case.
Same logic goes with H4 (they dont work on H1B ) so it was a matter of time someone would also challenge that on court and win.

What is the procedure to file Tax from India?
1. Designate one of the tax filing companies (HR block etc ...) as your agent by filling a form (check IRS web site) and give it to your. Your company will issue W-2 to this agent. You have to pay filing fee in advance to the tax filing company.
2. If your company issues W-2 electronically and your banks/financial institutions produce 1099s electronically, you can file the returns from India electronically and direct refund to your bank account.

My honest, ubiased opinion regarding PPF would that you should not remove your money from PPF. Its is very stable, it pays the highest interest and you dont have to manage it. Forget about it for 20 odd years and you will have a substantial amount accumulated in your account. You will withdraw it and blow it away, thats what most of the people end up doing.
That being said, if you still want to withdraw from your account or close your account, its really very simple. There is a one page form you need to fill out, and you will get the money fairly quickly. You DONT have to pay money to get it. I did not pay and neither did anyone i know.
This is something in india that works well for millions of working class people and its much better than the SS mess that is here.

I 100% agree with you about visa capture...
Additionally, they can "spill over" only in the last quarter...
So all in all, I do not see much of GC approval till the last quarter of next fiscal year; those 120k preadjudicated cases will sit in show case....
I used to like Ron Gotchers ideas and used to visit his site/blog; but after initial few months, I realized that he does not know any more than any of us...he just throws in ideas; some of which are completely base less....I feel bad about those people who believed his ideas and opted for CP while USCIS has already preadjudicated large number of applications....(he predicted at that time that July fiasco will happen every year, so do CP)

It is not workable option. How can you ask and convince your attorney to wait till the end of month and file. It is really foolishness and stupidity. If something happens, everybody will suffer. So, start sending whenever your docs are ready and good to go. Since we got a month, all filings will be distributed to whole month, and nobody or media cares. If they receive all on a particular one day, then it will be in news unnecessarily. Then, everybody starts hating GC applicants like the way it is happening for H1Bs because of mass filings on Apr 2nd 2007.
So, please don't bring these ideas to forums for your personal benefit. If you are waiting on for some documents to end of next month, just you only wait, not all of us. We want to go and file. Most of us are already waited enough time to get a chance like this.

As per the other threads and discussions from lawers , immigration officers, and info pass applicants that we have seen so far, uscis can change and will probably change the rules of accepting the application if the demand and rush continues. Already we are seeeing 45 days backlog of receipt.
besides lawyers just have to instruct fedex to pickup and deliver it on july 30th, how difficult can it be ?? except they should have little more room to pile up the applications until july 30th :)

Guys...thanks for the support. But we need to find out and bring people who are suffered due to this. Once we get enough stories, I can create a draft. Along with these stories we can send the letter and start the campaign. So please spread this to everyone you know.
