zen.state this appears to be the correct ram for my system as its low spec dual 867 which if my research is good means it need PC2100 266mhz ram. And 4x 512mb is my max of 2Gb. This one is the cheapest I can find new. is that right?

This is why carrier competition is important. The T-Mobile deal needs to be struck down by regulators.
Agreed, I'm still surprised by the amount supporters of this 'deal' in an earlier thread on this board. The only winners are Deutsche Telekom (as they get to dump a barely profitable enterprise) & ATT.

Enough already. They are not tracking your location. This data is recording the location of cellphone towers and wifi hotspots. It functions as a cache to speed up location acquisition but it still requires some real time signal sensing from your device to give you any level of acceptable accuracy such as coordinates from the GPS satellites themselves.
People who noticed that the recorded places that they had not been to saw data from before they owned the device and it was still in transit from the factory to their home town.

how do you go about flashing one?
Look for this one (Hercules 9800 Pro 128 MB):

IMO the best of 9800 128MBs to flash. It has 128k EEPROM, so it takes full 128k ROM and fits MDD.
See http://www.themacelite.wikidot.com for further details (you'll find everything there).
As second one I could recommend 9700 (pro or non-pro) 128 MB, also from Hercules:

I don't mind spending $80 on a paper clip which can hold and play 240 mp3's!
Also, I can totally see girls using it as a hair clip - mp3 player! :D

I've had every single iPhone released. Just sold my Verizion 32gb iP4 for $630 when I bought it BNIB off CL for $450. You don't have to be a dummy to enjoy new electronics.
