Suppose we know the current job code attached to LC and we have job duties of the new job. How do we know the job code of this new job ? Can anybody throw some light ?

Why not to use that very same ID you have been using for 2 years to post this one also? That way others will know you have been a member and also contributed in the past. No confusion and peace.

Probably, nothing wrong to discriminate against h1b holders, but discrimination against citizens maybe taken seriously. As such, it is at company's discretion to hire u or not, internally, from what I learnt, if the company decides to hire u, they hire u, if not, they may give u this as a reason because they may have found someone with same skills but without requirement for sponser.
If a company desperately needs u, they will do anything to hire u. If company thinks it must not have to deal with legal issues and overheads, it may not hire u, may keep u on hold.
Basically, we are on our own, and we can only try and try. It is the land of opportunities, and there will be opportunities for everyone somewhere.

My I-140 is approved in 2006 and now i have filed my I-485. My employer has not given me any kind of doucments like I-140 approved document or Labour Substitution document. The only form he gave is ETA 9035E after my substitue labour was approved. If I want to change job after 180 days using AC21 do I need any of doucments from this employer. If my employer is not ready to give , what is other alternative. Plesae advice.
It would be best to get the labor certification application to know the exact job title, job description and wage rate. If employer is not ready to share a copy of labor certification application, file FOIA application to get the copy of the labor certification application. It may take up to 1-2 months to process FOIA.
It is highly recommended to get copy of approved I-140. There may be other ways to handle this, but here is a way I would prefer. Ask your lawyer to send you copy of your 485 packet. If your 140 was approved prior to sending 485 application, the lawyer would have sent you a copy of approved I-140 with your 485 application to USCIS. If your current lawyer is not cooperating with you, you will have to get a new lawyer as soon as you change your job, of'course after getting copy of the labor certification application. We need the numbers to make anything happen - if something as simple as cutting and pasting a letter cannot generate more than 20 participants when priority dates have become Unavailable again atleast for EB3I - I dont expect anything anymore to happen in the future. JUST BEING REALISTIC!!!

speaking for myself, i have tried to remain active, but suddenly got swamped with a huge work-load.
in this economy, performance is a matter of survival. Not to say that we should accept immigration to be a luxury.
It is a pity i had to miss the donor's telecon last week, simply as i was still working.
So bottom line: there are still people who are willing to participate and active, but it is a matter of immediate priorities.
Let us keep up the spirit and keep working....

In fact, my point was that unfairness should be dealt with on all possible fronts. If the system works properly, nobody will need to do anything that is even remotely unfair.
I have a strong gut feeling that 2009 would be a good year for EB3. They will start approving more cases I think.
I certainly hope for the best this year. My PD is currently current, but I am still helpless. Can't file a service request nor know any kind of status (unless on pure luck I run into a good natured IO over phone or infopass). Just have to pray that they find and get to my application while dates are still current.
This thing is a dual headed monster....If you conquer the PD head, the processing date Head pops up and vice versa.... I am not sure why so many people so naively jump to the defence of India without looking at the context in which things are said.
Most Indians love India and that includes most NRIs. If there was any doubt just look at the support the NRI PAC gave in pushing the nuclear deal.
The main point here is that this thread was started on the premise that the negotiation of this deal to transfer social security payments was somehow good news for our money. I think one can disagree with this and still love India.
Frankly, if my choice was between foregoing the money here and that money going for something good such as infrastructure development in India, I and I am sure most Indians here will happily sign off on those funds.
Point however is I do not see it as good news for our social security money.

In Dallas (Las Collinas), if you dont have medical insurance, you can have an arrangement with the Doctor and Hospital.
Like one of my friend paid 3K for everything for Delivery + 5K I think for the hospitals. Ofcourse this is based on the delivery is not complicated / C-section couple of years ago.

They did not have any legal obligation to answer his query. They answered his questions by non answering it.
Grassley then starts to increase the rhetoric and starts pressuring uscis/dol to start investigations.
uscis/dol start investigatin and denying cases and study it and find fraud.
now; Grassley is getting his way and starting to change policy.
Nascom senses game is over and come begging which is exactly what grassley wanted in the first place.
At the end; he will get these guys to agree to tough measures (ie., lca requirements for L-1; tougher measures on h-1b, etc.
See how Microsoft answered differently when they got the query and compare to these guys.
This system created in USA has a way of making you conform to their behaviour willingly or through long and painful way. Looks like they had to learn through long and painful way.
It is called desi mentality. Unless the ass is set on fire - Desi folks don't realize the importance of such things.
