In-app purchase can be disabled using parental control. This is stupid. I expect my tax to be used by my government to tackle bigger problems, oh maybe like jobs and the economy, not to appease some idiot "parents."
I was about to comment on the same thing, holy enchilada :rolleyes: so now parents can't figure out how to lock their kids out :eek: and have to get the government to do it for them, are people just getting dumber :p as time goes, people you should not contribute to the gene pool it could hurt our long term survival as a species.

Nonsense. Apple is selling a lot of computers right now because Jobs Osbourned the entire PowerPC range just over a year ago by announcing the switch to Intel. For each model of Mac, sales were artificially low before the Intel version was launched, and artificially higher after.
Additionally, people are happer buying Macs if they know they can switch back to Windows if it doesn't work out. One of the major barriers to owning a Mac has been removed by the Intel switch (whatever my misgivings on the subject.)
It's simply ridiculous to argue that the ads have helped sales. Sales would be much higher now than they would have been six months ago even if Apple had stopped advertising completely. The question is whether they would be even higher if they weren't insulting their target audience. The answer, of course, is yes.

Apple won't use 10.4.10, it doesn't look elegant.
Instead, they'll stop at 10.4.9 and any changes after that will be called a "Security Update".
I kinda think it looks balanced with the 10 on each side.

Not sure if i like the gloss black. I remember seeing PS3s that were covered in smudges and streaks. My current 360 can be cleaned fairly easy.
I also don't know about using the wifi. Its just a few more milliseconds to add onto the latency. Playing FPS I can tell the difference between 70ms, and >50ms. I had DSL and then cable last summer and could tell a difference. Round a corner and you are dead before you can even touch the trigger.
I do like how they made it smaller, and if they can quiet down the dvd drive that would be very nice. Bigger hard drive is about time. My 20GB is full just from downloading maps for Halo and COD.

I'm getting a really intrusive Head and Shoulders ad banner at the top of the page. Whenever your mouse pointer hovers above the banner, the banner expands, and a video automatically starts playing. This can happen quite easily when you go to click on another browser tab in Firefox/Safari/Chrome/etc.

It should not matter what "I think" about Trump as it relates to your vote. But, I think you are trying to get a deeper sense of the candidate by asking others, which seems both reasonable yet misguided to me. My suggestion is that, at the end of the day, vote your conscience based on what HE SAYS and DOES and not what others interpret. You have a moral compass, use it.
I asked this because I am new to politics and want to learn more about it. When people answer this question most of the time they have reasons to back it up like things the candidate has done in the past. I am just trying to learn more about politics is all. that's exactly what i was wondering about! i don't know if EU regulations apply to the ipad, but they certainly do apply to the iphone. and i think, apple has to include a miniUSB port (standardized charger) to the iphone 5 if they want to sell it here in europe. a simply dock connector just won't do.

I don't buy it; Apple offers the Apple TV for $99 which provides AirPlay. I don't think they'll license out the software; Apple has too many negative experiences with licensing out software... :cool:

They would also boost potential sales and rentals of video from the iTunes store.
Just look at the proliferation of Netflix streaming enabled devices on the market today, there is a lot of money to be made here even if it does end up killing the AppleTV.

Are your APN entries correct, or your carrier file installed?
Settings > General > About - what is the value for "Carrier"?
Might be worth a reset of your network settings.
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
This will also wipe all stored WiFi entries and their passwords and reboot the phone.
Carrier is Starhub 10.0. The phone was perfectly working before. I've never jailbroke this phone before. I'm still under contract with Starhub.
I've tried to reset the network setting already. Also reset the phone as well. Nothing is working. :(

I don't think you understand the progress of technological advancements. You seem to have this idea that once something is thought of in bed, it's guaranteed to be on an instant bee line to world scale distribution. While it's true that many tech breakthroughs (or ideas) can be implemented rigth away, much of the most out disruptive realizations require huge investestments with no obvious guarantee of a profit.
And there is a distinguishment between nuclear reality and nuclear fantasy (fusion).

I love the inclusion of USB3.0.
I just hope the old dock ports/cables will be backwards compatible, I've got so many dock cables.
Also hope Apple will also release something like this to comply with the EU standards...

Apple cannot own the word "pod." Sorry guys, you built your brand on a regular 'ol common word. Apple derived a benefit from using an existing word as part of their product name and they can't just turn that around and take the whole damn word for themselves. They could have called it the "iKerbock" you know, and they'd now own "kerbock." But then, they wouldn't have sold as many iKerbocks as iPods, I'd bet.
However, iPod is Apple's word and they should clearly be able to stop people from using it, especially in an mp3 playing context.

If I were to guess, it would be this single new model alone for the rest of this year, with the 2 older models slotting in as the "bargain" versions for the holiday season. Then next year, after the launch of Kinect has settled in, and the older models are pretty well phased out, they could introduce a wider range of models.
