I'm not sure, but it probably plays a role in activating the adhesive. You should probably use the soap just in case.

I know it can be done so do not post saying it's impossible, there are adapters that allow you to and ones to play it connecting it to your MBP then to the apple display, but how could I do that? What adapters would I need and how steep of a price am I looking at?

I honestly don't remember what website this popped up on, but Safari started downloading this MacSecurity.mpkg and it ran instantly and bypassed inputting my password? I couldn't really stop it
has anyone gotten this before? it took me to some webpage but I closed it
It said something about me being infected?
Am I going crazy? I didn't click anything(maybe by accident?) and yet this thing popped up, gave me a file and ran the installer without me being able to stop it lol wtf

Remove the checkmark from: Open safe files after downloading

Dear All ,
I have Macbook , come Dark on backlight , i change inverter but still same problem .
and when fix inverter cable to the inverter the normal disply comes back once , like only plug and unplg , ineed to knwo the problem from logic borad , or from other think .

I'd give it a 9. The only knock against it being the ability to get in and mod it easily. I come from the PC world where I built my own machines and constantly tweaked and upgraded them over time. I've had my current iMac for 4 years and just ordered another of the new ones. They are incredibly powerful for an all-in-one and it just works. As it turns out I didn't really need to do much modding except for RAM, which is easy. I've had absolutely no problems with my current iMac. Wife is getting that one and my 7 yr old is getting her MacMini.

Things made for vinyl don't sound right digital, similarly things made for digital sound stupid on vinyl (though many artists still sell vinyls in this way). At least this has been my experience.

I like. Since I've got the Speck PixelSkin HD right now I wouldn't mind if it's bulky. If the kickstand is removable and the price is reasonable I'd get one. Really feeling the black/red colorway.

Now that we've upgraded the forum software (see announcement), users can create personal albums with photos or other images.
Albums
Each user's photos are organized into albums. Each album has a name. Each photo has a title and can have comments from other users.
Each user has an album page that shows one photo from each album and lets you click to view that album.
There is a main album page (http://forums.macrumors.com/album.php) (Choose Pictures & Albums in the Community menu) that shows a selection of albums.
Creating albums and photos
The steps are straightforward. To add an album, go to the main album page and click Add Album or go to your own profile page and click Add Album or Show All Albums (on the right-hand side of the page).
When you create an album you can choose whether it is public (all site visitors can see it) or private (only your contacts and friends can see it).
Once you are looking at an album, click Upload Pictures. It works like the Attachments feature for forum posts.
While viewing a photo you can click Edit Album or Edit Pictures to change an album name, delete an album, change or delete a picture, etc.
One photo in each album is designated the "album cover", the photo that appears in your album display. Choose it when you add a photo or click the "This is the album cover" button when editing the photo's page later.
When you are in the edit view of one of your photos, you'll see Picture URL and BB Code boxes. You can copy the text and paste it into forum posts to put a link to your photo, or the photo itself, in your post.
The "Me" album: photos of you!
We've established a convention that will make it fun for users to find photos of other forum users.

It's all going to be crowded, even KOP. Look at KOP on a normal day, and i dont know if any of you saw KOP on the iPhone launch. Just cuz its in a mall doesnt mean it will be any less crowded.

Make sure you're getting RetinaPad for the official source. If you try to use a cracked or unauthorized version, then it will not work. My friend tried using the cracked version and all of his iPhone apps crashed when installed. I told him I'm using the officika paid tweak, he went ahead and bought it and it works perfectly.

Ill be going to the Apple store at the Falls. Even though the At&t store is close by but I have a feeling a lot of people will be going there to activate their phones for the first time.
