I am certainly hoping that I will get by EOY 2011. It's more than hope, I feel pretty confident that by that time I should get it. Just mark my words, come back on dec 31, 2011 and check with me. It seems they are accounted separately in these Appointment schedule sheets, there are multiple entries for same "BMB CASE NUMBER" which I assume is one per primary applicant. So I think the dependents are accounted for in the 100 number that i.e. being projected.
In any case even if it is not it will move up to what 220 (assuming 2.2 people per primary applicant) it will still be a very small part of 20000+ odd visa that are being projected in this thread. I think the idea being circulated by the Ron and Murtys of this world that DOL pushed out the dates to get CP to use up the numbers that USCIS is incapable or unwilling to use seems to go down the drain I don't think DOL cares about 100 odd visas that much.:)

I beleive Kuhelica and bfadlia have been planted by anti-immigrants to spread poison and hate in people's mind. looking at the number of posts they have posted, it seems like they are new members who are out there to sabotage the reforms that we have been talking about.
We do not have to spend our energy and time answering each and every post of theirs. they do not deserve our time nor they are intelligent enough to rationalise.
I and a couple of us have been repeatedly telling that we do not want ROW people to be affected nor we want country quota to be removed, but they have been targetting our race, our country, it has jealously writ all over... Just ignore them and move on. the more forward we move the more backward they stay..

7 pages of this and I don't think there is any clear information on how many applied betweek Jan and April-1 of 2005. I saw a post somewhere where someone said Cisco alone had about 1000 applications. Now if you add dependents to it that is almost a years quota of EB2,just from Cisco!!! I think easily there are around 5000 EB2 applicants in just that time frame. My 2 cents.

My point is not to discourage any one, but when we wirte to media, folks will investigate all before they publish to main stream. We need to be fair and should provide the correct information, else we might loose the coverage.

No one is naive to know Canada is not oozing with opportunity. But since people are sick of the US and it's immigration policy Canada is an option for some especially ones who don't care to go back to India. No country is an option for all neither is USA.
It seems after reading all this that canada maynot be for all aspirants. You need to know somebody already there and should have strong family ties before you land. Or better get a job offer from a company first or acceptance offer from an university if you want to enter as a student.

I am another person of TN1 to GC.
TN1 can change job. Only thing you have to travel to nearest boarder with Two page TN1 petition, job offer letter, canadian citizen certificate, and educational credentials (you can also file to NSC but it will take few months to get approve).
TN1 has to be renew every years and it can be renew for indefinate time (not like 6 years for H1B).
As far as I know one who holds TN visa cannot apply for Green Card. :)

Hi, I am seriously planning to start Canadian immigration after wasting 7 years of my life in chasing GC. Can anybody suggest some good lawyers/attorneies/agencies who are not money suckers like US immigration attornies ? Also, somebody mentioned that one can apply Can immigration by himself. Is there any issue with that ?

I cant speak for others but discussing on labor sub is like itching the wound. Most people here really hate the whole concept of labor sub. Lets not get in to other people's nerves at time like this.

I am very very skeptical about the claim that USCIS moved the dates to June 2006 in a random fashion. They could have moved it to Dec 2005, but they moved it to June 2006 because they have the ACTUAL GC numbers (unlike us:)) and they have an estimate of how many could be adjudicated.

Otherwise how would you explain the sudden rise in EB1 filings and a quota which never used to be over in previous years suddenly has cut-off dates.
