I am sponsoring to My In-laws next month for visiting next month. I am preparing documents for them. My questions is... What are documents required from my wife side? she is not working.
What should I send from her?
A letter from her (& you) inviting her parents addressed to them and to the consulate.
If she isnt working, all the other sponsorship documents have to come from you.
If you google this, you will get a ton of information on the specifics (forms and supporting documents).

Hi folks,
Does anybody know if there is a receipt for I-140?
I'd like to make sure that it was successfully received by processing center. Do you think it is polite to ask my company lawyer for this receipt or since she told me that it was filed I should just sit and relax...:rolleyes:

well queen my long lost thought you were gone forever to never come back friend. I am not to familiar with the nikon lenses i would imaging the logical side would be to cover as many focal lengths as possible and that would be covered by the 18-55 and the 55-200mm lenses. however im not sure if the 18-135 lens offers supperior glass or not. If it does i would say that would be the one you go with. anyway it sure is nice to see you on here queen i must say i missed ya.

Your wife can apply for SSN and can work on using EAD. This will not affect your status. You can still work on H1.

We have not done anything to my passport yet. We initially thought of getting my name changed but for now we have kept it in the "to do list".. Not sure when will be able to get to it...

Basically it will be approved as master degree if you have 4 year Bachlore degree and 2 Year Master degree. Any others are risk of approval. Also the job requirement should need Master degree with higher pay(compared to Eb3). I heard some Indians who had MSC was approved in EB2 but I heard lot people got rejected because they it is 3 +2 years term.
Your french degree has no compelling equivalency to a masters degree in u.s. educ. level. specially you are just a neophyte in your field (1yr) better apply in quebec ...:( :(

First of all you would need a visa to visit UK.
I don't think Malaysian nationals residing legally in US and travelling to UK need a visitor visa...But I am not sure if UK visa law considers pending I-485 (AOS) a valid status....If you still maintain a valid H1 status but plan to re-enter on AP, you should be ok in my view...

My Question is - Am I eligible for Premium I-140 Processing since i am in my 6 th year of Stay.
Here is little background on the same (Technical Error)
I was on L1A from Sep 2003 to Sep 2005
First H1B from Oct 2005 to Sep 2008
In August 2008, I got Second H1 extension till Sep 2011 instead of Sep 2009.
My Labor got approved in this year in March also I got my Visa approved and I-94 Issued till Sep 2011.
My First Question remains the same - Am I elligible for Premium I-140 Processing. After I-140 Processing, should i apply for H1 extension again.
Pls. advice

haha..but i can't seem to find a suitable color scheme :P
um...looks gritty? u talking about the 'rays', rite? i made it by drawing the lines and then radial blurring it...i used the good quality, maybe i should use the best quality next time :)
i have made some changes, including removing the words in the upperleft..but i can't change the flare cos i don't want to do it again :smirk: (took quite awhile ;))

Status was AOS pending during gap of employment.

hi, i recently filed 485,EAD,AP for my wife and the attorney asked for check of $1010/- that includes unlimited EAD renewals.
Is this really possible ? Please advise.

Shustermann says that today ist the last day that all the employment- based-preference categories are current (exception unskilled workers). Ok, now he sasy : We recommand that Employers and their attorneys e-filing their I-140 today.
Please explain me if thats so important to file today the I-140 becouse just today the priority date are current.
I dont understand whats has the filing form I-140 to do with the priority Dates. Priority date is the PERM date??

My wife is currently working on H1B, she was offer permanent position at the client she is working, she has to get on to EAD to take permanent position.
both my wife and myself got EAD's in Oct 07, my question is does she has to invoke AC21 to get on to EAD.
I am the primary candidate for our GC Process.

But I feel sorry for fellow EB's who got rejected because few IO did not know about the AC-21. Although the job descriptions are pretty similar ( C coding, design, protocols etc.), my PERM was filed for Computer Software Engineer-Applications whereas the new one falls under Computer Software Engineer, Systems Software. Is this a risk during I-485 adjudication. Also my new salary is 50% higher than my original PERM salary (It has been almost 4 years since my original PERM).

How about if the company moves with in the same state but different county. My company is moving to a bigger facility as we have outgrown the current facility. I have applied for I-485 on July 3rd and my I-140 is already approved.
Seeing that under AC21, they give flexibility to move to a different employer and different state, I think the law would be flexible enough to accomodate moving of the work location within the same state with same employer.

Get some nice Attroney and you need to get Education Evalution properly.
