.. by trying to get our provisions included in this bill .. Duh..
I may not know the process completely, but how does it work as the Bill has already been passed. Can somebody amend the Bill after it passed? If yes, dosen't it needs to go thru the the voting again?

USCIS is considering to "permit pre-filing of I-485 applications upon approval of I-140 petitions for preadjudication of the I-485 applications pending immigrant visa number availability."

Good Attorney -Even DOL has to be sued for delaying labor approvals and backlog.Thats one of the reason for this huge retrogression.

I received my "Approval Notice Sent" email on Aug 13th and actually received the notice on 16th. However, never received any "Card Production Ordered" email. From your post, it looks like you received the card production email before the "Approval Notice Sent" email. I am just wondering why I didn't receive any card production ordered email.
I would imagine that once the 485 is approved, card production is automatically ordered. Any input guys?

Great shot. I like the second one with the red accent a little better. As far as spending money for studio equipment, take a look at Alien Bees studio lights. The article is not very clear. It sounds like this will cause more trouble than benefit us. The 485 filing will be based on PD after pre-registration is cleared, so people who were originally eligible to apply for 485, EAD and AP when PD is current will lose the EAD/AP benefits during pre-registration process.

Is it really possible to move back to H1 with a new company from EAD, in case 1> you have approved 140

yes you can. Since your PD indicates your LC is >365 days old.
new H1 is same as transfer, there is no real difference in application etc. I assume you are moving from AOS-pending/EAD to an H1.

My lawyer has initiated conversion of my TR case to a RIR. As per the FAQ provided by him, provided that the job duities and title is the same; he will get a prevaling wage determination from the SWA (this is the stage where I am right now), next he would post the ads for 10 days.... and continue with the regular recruiting procedure as per the RIR rules.
As per his estimate he would be able to file the RIR conversion request (with the recruitment data) to the Philly BEC in 2-3 weeks.
If you want I can e-mail his deatiled FAQ to you.

I am in the same boat.File July 27. I140/I485 conccurently but so far I only have receipt for I140.Call USCIS over 10 times already no luck at all.And they told me that all applications from TSC are in the system.My lawyer call today and she was told that there are more cases from TSC that are still keying in for applications received during the month of July. So I ahve no idea what to believe.Call USCIS and request to check on your case.

Paper filing as per the instructions, my friend got the EAD in less than 30 days from the date it was sent to TSC. He was kind of unhappy as he applied 120 days prior to expiry and had 90 days go waste (in terms of filing fees)
