The Macintosh SE has a 68000 processor which limits it to the StyleWriter series (I think up to the StyleWriter II works on it). Laser printers are different and to my knowledge all LaserWirters will work on a Mac SE.
THe Mac SE can have up to Mac OS 7.5.5, which includes the LaserWriter 8 driver and other LaserWriter Drivers.
It depends on what ports are available on your LaserWriter. Tell us the model name.

Well I've noticed something really weird by pure accident ...it is not that important but it did got my attention and if anyone knows why I would like to know for sure
first of all i have an ibook, an adsl line and a telindus adsl modem. With the modem I have two computers connected ....my ibook and my brothers windows based machine...By accident in my ibook i used a crossover cable to connect with the modem..and by suprise the internet worked. I tryied the same cable in the windows based machine kai ofcourse it didn't work.... It really seems weird (the straightthrought cable works fine with both mac kai windows computers).

Just saw this thread, so I figured I'd share some knowledge (been gaming for 8 years).
So the reason why people are avoiding these things like the plague is because they STINK. The Intel chipsets ARE more powerful than the NVIDIA 320M, BUT, that doesn't always equal better performance.
Game developers usually design games on nvidia chipsets (Hence, "Nvidia: The way it's meant to be played) slogan.
Although the 3000HD shows better specs, it's been proven to perform worse in game. The reason being that the drivers are total rubbish. Until they can improve the drivers, it's a downgrade. But then again.............who in their right mind would try and game with a laptop!? ;)

I was really looking forward to this, but not having the maps on the device is a no go for me. I ditched tom tom in favour of a stand alone Garmin years ago and haven't looked back since. I'm currently using navigon on the iPhone as my Garmin unit is a bit flakey these days.
Sort it out Garmin please! Hopefully this will be rectified before the app is available in the Uk store..... I hope anyway

but how would one run Casper when restoring the Windows partition?
since i'm not allowing any M$ crapola near my Macs, i have to admit i never tried it myself.

Apple needs to be very vigorous in defending the iPod TM. Not sure if anyone else caught it but with the updated iPod line CNN ran a story. In it the woman stated that Apple currently controls "70% of the iPod market." Unless the rebranded HP models are selling like hotcakes sounds like a generic use of the term to me.

Have you actually used it or are you just talking crap? The new version is actually really good and in my opinion BETTER than Apples product.
Agreed. A lot of people gave the previous Office crap (and rightfully so), but I've been very impressed with Office '11 and haven't looked back.
Dropped Apple Mail for Outlook, gave up on Pages a long long time ago, and Keynote's a nice toy to play with time to time. Office '11 for Mac is a very impressive showing on Microsoft's part.

As a statistician, it always simultaneously amuses and disappoints me when people say "xxx isn't a large enough sample size!"
Usually the sample size is completely adequate, and it's only that the sampling technique was flawed. It's extremely difficult to get an unbiased sample when doing a survey.
By the way, why is everyone saying people in the Midwest don't buy iPads? I live in the Midwest and will be getting an iPad 2 soon. Yes...probably Verizon.
