Can you guys answer 1 question for me?
When the next iPhone does come out how will iPhone 4 Verizon customers be able to upgrade? Do you think that Verizon and AT&T will work out an early upgrade for them?
Or do you think people who want the iPhone on Verizon will have already waited for the 5.
Once your contract is up you are probably ready for iphone 6.
In the meantime, penalty for earlier upgrade would be my guess.
................BUT 2 years is a lot of time for technology in the cellular field.
By then there may be a whole new way of doing that business out there.
Apple could become a player in that field like Skype. They can do it via ichat, face time or itunes or mobile me.
Maybe in the future we don't need cellphone providers, just data access companies. A wifi network all over the country may do.
Their North Carolina facility is only starting up........

When you take forever to get the phone on VZW you should expect people to take their time switching.
First, you've let Android have all that time to get a following because it's the only alternative for the lack of an iPhone. Those people have also bought apps that they now enjoy and would have to re-purchase on the iPhone. This happens with video game systems as well.
Second, people are in 2yr contracts. There are very few people who are willing to pay more for a phone they can buy 4 months later at half price on top of the termination fee.
Third, not that many people hate AT&T it's just the handful of VZW fans that make it look that way.
And finally you have the reporting and reviews. All the reports I saw were telling VZW people and potential switchers to hold off on getting the iPhone 4. No 4G, no white and still had the questionable signal issues. The "iPhone 5" was supposed to come out mid to late summer so people were concerned Apple would sell them a phone and then jump up 6 months later with the newer, thiner, better version and leave folks hanging.
People are paying attention to these reports and that's why I feel the numbers were low.

Are you really saying that because Japan had limited natural resources it was justified in seizing Korea, invading Manchuria, invading China, attacking the Soviets, invading Indonesia, and attacking any country that decided not to resupply Japan's war machine?
I'd say you're totally wrong in trying to justify Japan's war of expansion
My thinking is that war is bloody stupid exactly 100% of the time. It only happens because humans display a shockingly small amount of psychological development between the age of 5 and 45.
Of course my opinions don't count, the world's opinions are what actually matter. And historically speaking the "world" has no problem with war, in fact we seem pretty into it.
So according to the world's opinion I see nothing wrong with what Japan did. They wanted stuff they started a war, we threatened their war effort they started a war with us.
In terms of national politics I see nothing particularly wrong with that. In terms of being a human being I find it enormously disgusting.

Relax...if it's a new battery it may take a little while to settle down. Also sometimes they come out higher than the rated capacity, just because of manufacturing tolerances....

How about getting two notifications. Try telling me what the first one was? That's right, you will have no clue. Try using Android or WebOS for about 10 minutes and you will realize how obtrusive and useless notifications are in iOS.

I bought an unlocked Pixi (what a weird phrase...) as my iPhone is on its last legs and I want to wait until the iPhone 5 before upgrading. It's hard to overstate how much better the notifications are than the iOS ones.
