you might want to chjeck sites like versiontracker.com to see if they have something for that. there are things so you can have different iPhoto and iTunes libraries, so i dont see why they cant do something for iCal.

I'm with you. iDisk is a clunker and I never use it. Apple would be smart to just buy DropBox. It's perfect.

iDisk works fine for me and has better integration than Dropbox.
How is iDisk better integrated than DropBox? I have DropBox running on my desktop where it looks like any other folder. I can open that folder and drag things to and from it. I have DropBox running on my iPad and iPhone too, and all three devices sync automatically. I use 1Password on all three devices and my data file resides on DropBox, so 1Password syncs to all devices automatically. And, there's a web interface for DropBox, so I can get to it from any computer. So what's better on iDisk?

No surprises here, the majority of people are waiting for the next iPhone.
I agree. Most people who wanted the iPhone 4 will have got one by the time the verizon version was released. Also, there was no concrete proof that a Verizon iPhone will be released when the original gsm iPhone 4 was released. As the article states, either people are stuck in contracts or are equally just going to wait fr the next generation of the iPhone, seeing as it is only a few months away.

Also for fun - try enabling password for the screensaver and 60 minute idle logout. Then put your laptop to sleep and come back 60 min later only to have hung login window that accepts no input - works that way every time for me.
Good thing the screensaver password dialog is the login window itself (even the same exact process) in Lion then, huh?

I thought the same thing until I watched the streaming keynote video. MacRumors really ruined my day by misquoting Steve. I was super hyped all morning about hearing a lot about the Mac, but Steve actually said (and I'm partially paraphrasing):
"2007 is gonna be a great year for the mac, but that's all we're gonna say about it today. over the next several months we're gonna be rolling out some awesome new stuff for the mac... but for today we're gonna move on"
Had MacRumors taken the time to get that one tiny bit of information right in their live text feed, I wouldn't have been nearly as upset about the whole thing as I was. They built my hopes up very high with that remark and it really ticked me off.
I, too, kept waiting for him to move on to software or something Mac-related. That error in the text feed made my disappointment even worse.

first option: if it was me i would contact ebay and paypal and said that the item arrived was not as described =D it wasn't one of "these" as the seller had described....since the seller described two features to the auction and you've only received 1 (the photo portion)....worth a try?
second option: the item is described as used, you're photo is new =D return.
third option: the photo was damaged during shipping =D
fourth option: the photo had an iphone in it, but according to the seller's sentence: "a photo of an iPhone only, no phone included"
if the picture have more than just the iphone, then you could return it because the description said "iphone only" - this means no table, no box, no nothing, not even background. and the picture has to be the one from the description, if not you can return it based on the fact that the item is not as described.
