Yes it was. Your post was at 3 am of my time and I'm in -7 (daylight savings off). So going back to +14 time zone gives 21 hours, add the 21 hours to the 3 hours that this day was in by the time you created the thread and yeah, it was 00:00 of August 1st 2010 in that particular time zone.

Any larger versions out there? It is a lovely image but too small a resolution for my monitor.

New Passat, new Jetta... they've obviously established a strong family resemblance, but I think it's taken "conservative good looks" way too far, to the point that these two cars are just too bland. I could change my opinion when I see them in person, but so far I'm not very impressed.
At least it's more of an effort than the "new" Civic concepts! Holy crap, Honda - what's happened? That Civic was space-age in terms of design when it first came out back in 2005 or so, it was very cool! Now we get this concept that looks like it could've been at SEMA back in 2006. When you tone down the "concept" aspect of this showcar, it's gonna be a very weak mid-cycle enhancement over the current model, definitely not a complete new model in my book. Sorry for going OT, there should be a general NAIAS thread or something...

I just DL'd the demo for Earth Worm Jim and it is awesome. I just wanted to give people a heads up that this was released in case anyone loved this game years ago. It has 4 player co-op but I'm not sure how it works.

I don't totally see the connection, but I love this promotion. What a good cause!
As this site has grown from a small hobby site to one of the biggest Apple-related sites on the web, we've hoped to foster more community-oriented projects. We've participated in Folding@Home for years, and members have organized many other group activities themselves. When Shaun.P, a forum member dedicated to blood donation, brought up the idea of a blood drive last year, it just clicked with us. arn approved of the idea even though it's not related to our usual news and rumors. I'm a long-time proponent of blood/platelet donation myself (having donated over 60 units) so I was certainly in favor of it. The other administrators and moderators, some of whom have interests and knowledge that was directly relevant, helped work out the details for what an online blood drive would mean. So here we are!

If the US signs the United Nations Convention Against Torture, and then admits using "enhanced interrogation" methods as part of its policy in the "War on Terror", then there is a double standard. We are either advocates of torture, or we are not.
Until advocates of "enhanced interrogation" grow a pair and start calling it torture, which is what it is, there is no point in even having a discussion on the subject.

It was my bad --- apparently there was a newer driver on the CalDigit website. Works fine now.
