My Priority Date Sep 2002 EB3
According to LC, my labor got approved on Aug 9th, but we received actual paper on Sep 9th .. So lost the chance to FILE 485
DOL took more than a month TO send papers ..
There is no point in blaming IV . They are the BEST ..
It is US Govt agencies who are lazy and ineptitude.
US did not get Civil Rights in one year .. it took decades of fight ...
IV is fighting for every one ..

I know there are some of good <desi> consulting companies..
�there are some of good <desi> consulting companies� �hmm.. debatable. Its like saying there are some good bad-apples. I think there can be grades for desi consultants like little bad, more bad, even more bad, horribly bad, ruthlessly bad�etc but not good.
I don�t think there are any desi consultants who don�t fake their resume at least a little bit. Yeah, even a tiny bit (tiny bit according to consultants mostly will be quite a bit in normal standards) of faking is still faking. So how can you call them good?

I think that the AP info that you got is good...but the serendiptious (!) info of your and your family's NameCheck status bears good info/benefit in the longer term.
As for the 4 months thing, she is right if we go by FBI stat papers and testimonies given over the past few years; but what I find most interesting is that 7 out of the 8 people who I personally know, and who filed with me in June still have their NC pending as of this week. That does not include me whose NC is pending for past 4.5 months (since my info was sent to FBI!).
So the dataset is small but challenging. I am sure there are many like me. Wonder why I find many whose NC is pending in the 4-6 month range and very few (of the 68% - per FBI) whose have got it cleared in the so called 48-72 hours (after the info is sent to FBI) ! :confused:

I request everybody to add one line in the letter for Consular processing filers as they should be allowed to get AC21 and EAD facilities now. This law came earlier only for 485 filers because CP process was fast but now due to retrogession all CP filers are waiting for Years and in the worst sitauation as 485 filers are enjoying their freedom with AC21 and EAD

expecting only to get EAD/AP near term and prepared to wait few years. I have PD of 2005 and don't mind waitin if I get EAD/AP benefits for myself and spouse.

Folks - here is what you all do.
Please contact the Ombudsman's office. Fill out the form 7001 and explain the issue in detail and attach copies of your MTR submissions, notices etc....
Contact your Senators - go to their websites and look for constituent services and follow what is there on their website.
Contact your Congresman - usually congressman's office will give more personal attention. I recommend that you personally go to COngressman's office and talk to the immigration expert there. They will help.
Also, please feel free to contact IV with the issue. You can sed me an email and I will forward it to IV core to see what can be done.

Yes, the video was submitted by mbawa2574 before. I also felt better after watching the news on a national TV. I think finally our problems are getting some attention. With the San Jose rally, Flower campaign and hopefully rallies in other cities (which should happen sooner before this issue dies down), we have a very good chance of getting a positive outcome.

I had asked my StateSenator to inquire about my case and the senator office got back in 2 weeks saying that the USCIS liaiason informed that all looks good on my case and that cards should be ordered within 30 days. Six days after that i.e. today I got a notice saying cards were ordered.

Lol, they can.....and they'll charge like $200/hr for everything w/o H-1s willing to be relocated at moments notice.....the industry can't afford to pay someone higher just because they are 'American' if it is not profitable for them......leads back to the original point....

Thanks so much man! Actually I was all set for Sept 13 but have a work appointment on Sept 18, yet I am even thinking of cancelling that to attend. I don't care how expensive it is. I read on USCIS website update on Sept 28 that CSc is assisting TSC to enter the applications. My transfer notice states that application is still under TSC/ But I am also not sure which center will finally process

I suggest you wait and see if you can reconcile your differences......Marriage is a life long commitment. Remember we fall in love and we work on our marriages. Try reading the book called "5 Love Languages" by Gary Chapman....It is an excellent book for couples who are on the verge of breaking or even for couples who want to enhance their married life.
Sorry I do not have any advice for you, except that you try to get back together....which will help you avoid refiling 485 or refiling Labor......The choice is yours!!!

Thanks doc for the prognosis. I have said this before and I will say it again that all this is USCIS fault. They are the ones who are taking 90 days to issue recipt notices. They are the ones who are not following FIFO in issuing recipt notices. They are the ones who said that they have processed all applications received before July 1 but have not cashed checks for my application which was mailed on June 11th.
On a lighter note what you are doing with those you tube videos is also OBSSESSIVE COMPULSIVE (DIS)ORDER except that it's for something good.
