Well, like you said, I get the same experience in OS X, just slightly lower graphics settings. Which is fine for me. However, for me, I just prefer to not reboot my mac just for SC II, when it runs in OS X as well. Besides, I normally use iChat or Skype to get voice chat working, which I have set up in OS X. I can't wait though for a week or so when I can then play SC II on my Mom's 27" iMac. I have more VRAM on my MBP, but her screen is so much bigger, so I can't wait. Has anyone played SC II yet on the 27" iMac?
You're quoting a guy who said he played SC2 on his 27 inch iMac!

Cripes... it helps to *read* around a bit before loosing your rag...
Bloggers always go overboard on this stuff. It is clear that Apple is trying to protect their "iPod" brand, not attack "podcast" per se...
See the Zdnet dicussion of this, which includes an excerpt of a letter from Apple which specifically excludes "podcast" as a term they are seeking to protect...

He rich, yet he wears the same thing every day?
He's very into simplicity and minimalism, just look at the way apple products are designed. I think its a conscious choice to wear a simple black turtleneck and jeans, even though he could easily afford any clothes he wanted.

Update away. Those of you running illegal copies of the WWDC (torrent) will be happy to know that your IP and other system/contact info is automatically logged and forwarded to Apple Legal by the Leopard Software Update.

If you're going to present an argument, try not to reach to the bottom of the barrel and take it out of context.
I wasn't presenting anything. I was addressing your argument as you presented it, which was vague and absolute. You argued war is responsible for all important innovation. It is really easy to pick apart a claim like that.
And I don't know what world you live in, but most ppl I've ever met never thought they would get cancer. Or at least not until they are very old when many ppl get it anyway b4 they die. Certainly not young ppl and in a couple of years.
Well, the stats are 30% of the world's population will get cancer this lifetime. Over 10% will die from it, making it responsible for more deaths than any war. So I thought it was funny you were arguing that war, because it causes death, will instill humans with a special urgency that will allow us to develop a cure for something that causes more death.

This is sort of off-topic, but is anyone else very amused at the voice they gave for the French John Hodgman? (http://www.apple.com/fr/getamac/)
it's the french actor who dubs David Schwimmer in Friends (and in some of his movies). Strange choice, but i guess his voice is easily recognizable.

I would imagine that the 3DSi would have better cameras, and a front-facing 3D camera - imagine Skype in 3D... :D

Bought one last night, no game. Tried the display model at Fry's and the 3D hurt my eyes but when I brought it home my eyes were fine. I think the ambient light and angle have a lot to do with whether or not you get headaches.
The 3D camera is low res but a cool novelty. I was snapping random crap around my apartment.
The built in AR stuff is cool as well. I basically stuck a card on the counter and the game made some boxes appear on my counter. It then started doing things like making the counter look like it was warping and then made a dragon pop out which I was supposed to kill. I was surprised how well the gyroscope works - much better than the iPhone's. I also thought Face Raiders would be dumb and it was but it was also kinda fun, watching my kitchen wall explode into fragments.
I'm all for new experiences and the 3D and AR offer that. Now they just need to drop some better games.

That would be the iPad 2, which can already do 1080p gaming.
Yea, I agree with this. Looks like Apple is going to use the iPhone and iPod as their DS and the iPad as their SuperDS and Game Console.

This seems to be the demo title - is that because it's mearly a 3D version of Pilot Wings 64?
Seems to be the same as the N64 version when I was doing Free Flight on the Island.
Want to see what Starfox is like, though I heard it's also the same as the N64...
It's actually more of an extended version of the Wii Resort's flight game. Same exact island. Everything looks and feels the same.
The 3DS feels like a portable Wii.
I liked Star Fox 64, but I nope it's a new game.

I have the new ipad 2 and installed xcode 3.2 from my snow leopard disc, but there's no option to enable developer mode in iTunes (latest version). Does anyone know how to enable developer mode?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I'm amazed with some
people on these forums in that unless the phone gets a case re-design and LTE it's only a minor update. Really? going to a dual core processor and 8mp camera is "just a spec bump?"
I agree with you. New CPU, memory, cameras, etc are enough of a bump. You don't need it completely redesigned it's only been a freaking year.
People are so demanding and entitled. They think they should have the iPhone 10 NOW.. like right now Apple! Get on that *****!

That is all pretty straight forward, no?
