Can someone who used Advance Parole to travel back to USA extend his H1.

One Q: how long did it take for USCIS to get back to you with a confirmation that the MTR was accepted? [from the day you requested it]
Well.I did not have to request for confirmation. My attorney received the letter the next day after I received the automated email. The online status for my case still shows as "Denial Notice Sent".:(

Your Lawyer should advice what he is supposed to do. Don't take the ownership of doing something afterwhich lawyer would on your back. So be on his/her back and they should handle it. They can send a letter and the correct copy of your MC with the reciept #. How did you know that the MC was different, did your coworker shout at you ;)

I shot this image shortly after sunrise, using my 300D and Canon 75-300 at 300 mm and 5.6. ISO was 400. I was using the car door for support. The attached image is straight out of the camera. I shot it as RAW, resized for posting, and saved as a jpg. I'm real disappointed with the detail and the noise. Is it just not exposed properly? Is the steam causing the geese to appear out of focus? I shot about 30 images and they all look basically the same, other than intentional exposure variations. Normally I can figure out what I did wrong, but this time I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

It took me 6 days to get my approval and about another week to get the card in the mail. This happened in September of this year and I was registered in the Texas Service Center.

Traveling for the 1st time on AP (used H1 stamp previously, now I am on ead), wanted to know how the experience at SFO is. Do they always send you for secondary inspection? Anything else to know beforehand?
here's the list of docs I have from earlier post:

Here is a hypo situation, which I am sure we will be interested to know.,
What happens to a Wife's status on EAD, if the husband's 485 is in trouble, when both are working on EADs. Isnt her case independent once she also applied for 485/AP/EAD, or will there be a dependency,

Is this something common?. I did not get any emails after that. Following is the relevant part of the email....
"Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Card production ordered.
On April 3, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register."
What else do you want Bro. Give 30 days time to USCIS to send your card. we, most of us, would me more satisfied just to see the magical words - Current Status: Card production ordered in our case status.
Regarding holding card in physically, have to wait some time. Which should not be more taxing than waiting to see the magical words.

Have you noticed that it noticably degrades the image quality? Your little birds look pretty good, and I got a squirrel I was happy with, but these geese were not quite as sharp as I would have liked.
Also, do you have any tips for dealing with the short focal range? Did you use binds or something for the little birds?

What are chances of Dream Act? --> No one can predict. Depends on how Bush era tax cut bill goes through. Dems has added few provision to please Republicans so they are improving chances.
What are the chances of including our provisions in the bill? --> At this point Republicans want enforcement. They may not bargain for legal immigration in this bill. Rather they may prefer to add some tough rule for dreamers.
What happens if the bill passes without our provisions? ---> We will still have a chance to have our bill as piecemeal or just sit and watch
What happens if the bill fails? --> I hope they get it done, Dreamers are more enthusiastic than us and unless they get it these lawmakers will not think about us. Also they can set example that piecemeal is possible.
WHAT ARE OUR CHANCES IN 2011? --> As I said if dreamer can get their bill done, and CHC doesn't hold any piecemeal in future chances are there. but I doubt CHC will allow any legal immigration bill until Dems are in power of either of house.

I am not 100% sure about this issue but� I do see couple of emails from attorneys regarding denying port of entry in NJ airport. If you come across of any cases please share.

We are a big company B part of another big company Part A. The labor, I-140, and I-485 has everything mentioning B as the employer.
But for the employment letter, the lawyer got the letter from A which refers that I am a permanent employee of B with all the required details. I asked the lawyer why the employment letter is on company A's letter head and she said it is fine since your Company B is part of Company A.
I am concerned how will USCIS know Company A owns Company B. HOpefully it's fine.
Please help.
