Forget all the middle vendor and lawsuit , nobody will do anything.. In CA if you not aware, there is no legally binding contract that can restrict and employee to work for any employer. Non compete agreements also do not work there, these are just fear tactics. I left my employer and joined the client , and did this 2 times and also that too not even in CA , in other states. Noone did nothing, because it cost time and money and unless there is a 100% chance for the other party to win , they will not get into the lawsuit and stuff as it cost a lot of time and money.
So forget him and also save the middle vendor's number on your phone so next time you can avoid his call.

i dont understand ho can even its possible as i never signed any document with middle vendor and he is not even my employer . He is just acting as middle layer by showing prime vendor that i am his employee which is wrong. now we removed him from line of contract and he is saying that he will sue all of us for doing this.
is there any way that he can even do this ?

Hi ,
I got deported from Chicago when I was travelling back from India because I worked at a gas station with out authorization . I had to admit that I worked and I was deported back by flight same evening . They gave me the ticket .
My visa is cancelled and I was told to go back to consulate and get a new visa .
I want to come back and complete my studies as I have only 1 semester left . Please help what what should I do now .

If you were registered for the full credit required (I believe 9) then you are permitted to work for atleast 20 hours. I dont specifically know about gas station but students work on campus at the library, cafateria, other departments etc. Maybe gas station is considered off campus? Not sure about legality of that.

No more "status changes" e.g. f1->h1, L1->h1,even h4->h1 is allowed. Only Extensions are allowed in Mexico..
The USCIS site clearly states :
Who Can Apply in Mexico

Yes, it is worth it if you're PD is current. I got my approval in less than 15 days and to think there even wan request for evidence. Everything was expedited. So am now filing my 485. But for those whose PD is not current, it does not make sense to pay extra for premium processing.

I have observed, based on stories from different people that NSC sends RFEs when one tries to upgrade a non-premium I-140 case to premium. Does NSC send RFEs for premium cases? Till now, I have only heard NO.
No matter how hard I try, my lawyer keeps insisting that my case should not be upgraded to premium, because if an RFE is served, it might delay the case even more (implying, more than how long a regular case takes).
The whole thing does not seem to make any sense. If an applicant files under premium processing, according to NSC, his/her application is more reliable (and honest?) than if some one who files it on non-premium basis?

My case cannot be processed under CSPA, because the form I-824 was not filed within one year of the visa becoming available.
but i have a valid point mentioned after the follwing subject. please check if the point is valid.

I am planning for my visa in Jan at Mumbai consulate. I do not have any relatives in either mumbai/pune who can submit my documents 3 days before the appointment.
Has anyone faced this issue? I have sent them an email asking if I can mail the documents to them. Lets see what they reply. Does anyone has experience what to do in situation like this?

You can mail your's. make sure its registered /fed ex receipt and send them a followup email to check if they received it.

hi i have a question here:
suppose some x's labour PD date is 2004 August and some Y's PD date is 2006.
Y Applied I-485 on July2nd 2007 and X applied on Aug10th 2007.
so whose application processed first? is x's or Y's for final GC process.

As far as i know...if x's and y's PD's are current at some given time..then Y's file will be processed first because his RD is earlier and then X's file..its toatlly depends on PD (whose PD is current)..this is what i know..i may be worng..

C'mon, the clue is in your RFE. It's from day of entry (this means last entry) to the filing of I-485. Previous entries do not matter for I-485.
Was her I-94 still valid at the time she filed I-485? If yes, then you should be ok.
