Anyways, the current draft of Specter bill would lead to numbers flowing downward(unused numbers due to 7% or 10% per country limit). When they flow downwards from EB2, EB3 and EB4, they go to EB5 where there is no mention of per country limit(by omission).
You know what this means? After all the gains, the country limit on India and China will cause the overflow of all visa numbers to EB5(Unskilled labor, gardeners, cooks, maids) WHERE THERE IS NOT COUNTRY LIMIT and unlimited demand. And over there, in absence of no country limit, immigrants from Mexico will consume all EB5 unskilled numbers and there wont be anything like "UNUSED" numbers.(read the thread posted by STUCKLABOR for that analysis and legalese. : http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=241 )

Not even a final version of Judiciary committee markup. From there you lose some things when it goes to the full floor of senate and then A LOT OF THINGS when the hawks from the HOUSE of REPS like Tancredos and Smiths slither their tentacles on the Senate version in the CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. That's the reason we dont want to lose one thing even if we are gaining 10 things because those 10 things might be reduced to 2 by the time its negotiated in the conference committee between the house and the senate.

One of my colleague did withdraw his PF in an exactly same situation (not in TCS though), and you can definitely file 10C and 19 directly with the PF office without involving your employer. PF administration is now much more efficient and strictly works on behalf of employees, not employers. Even if any PF amount is not deposited by the company, PF has started taking immidiate actions against them.

I would think writing back to the Senator's office regarding your email and the unrelated response you got from the office has frustrated you, as the Senators does not seem to understand the problems, and therefore you are asking for an appointment to meet with the senator and explaining it personally.
You may not get the appointment to meet with the Senator, but you will let them know how badly they are screwing up constituents complaints. By following up and actually meeting with an immigration staff members in the Senator's office will be good.

Only till May 2013. But then you can still renew for 3 more years provided your PD is not current in 2013. You can use the approved I-140 from your current company for renewal. Make sure to get a copy of I-140 approval, not the courtesy copy.
You have to start a new GC process soon after you join a new company. That way you can port your PD to the new case and be eligible for filing I-485.

I CAME INTO THE COUNTRY AS IMMIGRANT AFTER TWO YEARS OF MARRIAGE WITH MY US CITIZEN WIFE.THOUGH MY PASSPORT WAS STAMP AT THE PORT OF ENTRY JUNE 8, 2008.AND THE IMMIGRATION OFFCIER AT THE PORT OF ENTRY WROTE IR1 ON MY STAMP PASSPORT.BUT ABOUT THREE WEEKS LATER I RECIEVE A LETTER FROM THE USCIS THAT A CARD WAS CREATED AND MAIL TO THE ADDRESS WE HAVE ON FILE BUT WAS RETURN UNDELIVERED BY THE POST OFFICE.6 MONTHS AFTER MY ARRIVAL TO US THE CARD WAS ALSO RESENT TO ME UNDELIVERED AFTER I MOVING WITH MY WIFE TO ANOTHER BIGER APARTMENT WITHING THE SAME ADDRESS. THOUGH I NEVER KNEW THE PROCESSES OF CHANGING OR INFORMING THE USCIS OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS BUT I DID UNDERSTAND NOW WITH THE HELP PF THIS LOVELY SIDE AND OPEPEL LIKE YOU AND I DID THAT STRAIGHT AHEAD.I CALLED THE USCIS ON 31ST OF DECEMBER,2008 TO INFORM THEM OF MY NEW ADRESS AND I MAIL FORM AR-11 ON EXPRESS TO THEIR OFFICE IN LONDON,KY.BECOUSE WHEN I CALLED USCIS OF THE CHANGE OF ADDRESS I WAS ALSO TOLD TO FILL THE FORM ON THEIR WEBSIDTE AND ALSO DOWNLOAD THE FORM FILL IT AND MAIL. THE USCIS SAID EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE CHANGE MY ADDRESS ON PHONE.THEY MAIL WAS DELIVERED TO THEM ON THE JANUARY 9,2009. TIME WAS 12.30P.M..SO THIS WAS THE MAIL I GOT FROM THEM ONLINE AFTER TRACKING MY CASE..

THEY SAID THIS WAS A NEW CARD. I WANT TO KNOW DO THEY DISTROY THE FIRST CARD THAT WAS SEND TO ME OR IS THIS NEW CARD WAS THE LPR(GREEN) CARD THAT HAVE 10 YEARS OF EXPIRATION? PLS URGENT REPLY THANKS

i have not come across any success stories of USCIS to CP move.
Also, i am not sure if the company must keep an empty chair for you..till you complete the CP process.
I was told that as long as the firm can give a letter stating that the job will be offered once you get ur GC..that should be good enough.

How could your friends get the 3 yr extension in their new company. Did they show their I-140 approval copy from previous company ?
In my situation, I don't think I can get the I-140 approval copy from my company.
So, can I move now before my 6 yr period ends in August and have company B transfer my H1B till 2010 (based on current + 3 yr I-797 copies) or wait till August when my 3 yr extension till 2010 takes effect ?
