Except Verizon does that too!!!!
Are you amongst tall buildings when you experience these dropped calls on Verizon? Maybe Verizon drops these calls because of the same reason AT&T does....
Don't get me wrong. I won't get an iPhone until I can get it on Verizon. I live in AZ and there are only two small spots where I ever lose a call and most of the time when I am in these areas, the calls do not drop.

Right, there are only billions of people who can watch DVD's on computers of their choice now because of his efforts who couldn't before, spawning all kinds of video editing, DVR, and high-quality conversion systems that couldn't have existed without his work.

If he paid $530.00 total, that means the only option was the 16 GB Wi-Fi only model. He didn't mention getting any change, so is there really somewhere that has 6.2125% sales tax? Seems unlikely.

I love Apple but these are bad news.

It's obvious that Steve Jobs was going to release the True Video iPod soon. I think they intended to release the true video iPod in October when they announced Movie downloads. Something must have happened that the iPod was just not ready, so they scrambled and made some minor upgrades that they intended to do anyways.
Apple knows it has to get it right or it could be a big disaster. Their goal is to release it before the holidays, but if for some reason they can't, it will be released at Mac World. I think their main issues that have caused it to be delayed is the battery life and the screen cover. The battery life has to be from 4 to 6 hours and the screen has to have some kind of protection that won't be damaged if it is touched constantly.
If it is going to be released it will happen anytime from now until the second week of November or during the first week of December. If it does not happen during these two time frames it won't happen until Mac World.

The better technology for the future is definitely Blu-Ray, however it may be trying to make it's way too early and that is working against it. Prices are just too high right now for Blu-Ray drives and discs and the PS3 is a gaming system that is just too pricey.
HD-DVD is much simpler and has a more recognizeable name and getting much cheaper which a lot of times is what the consumer market will favor. Right now it's still going to be another 2 years before people start looking away from DVD itself. How many people have a HDTV right now? When I say people I mean non-tech aficionados like us in these forums.

No one has given a point of view about that. You quite misunderstand what everyone is saying.
As for your code, you still have not really given us a clear indication of at what stage you are now and what isn't working. Now we know you want to do a sort of count down timer. I'm guessing you're trying to make a cooking timer kind of app since you said you were a pastry chef and that was what your first app was based on. Is this correct ? (<-- not a quiz question).
Now, what is not working ? Is the timer getting created ? Is it calling the method identified by the target and selector attributes when the interval you specified ends ? Is it repeating or not repeating (depending on how you set the repeat parameter on it) ?

Your probably on camera and your probably going to get Banned from Best buy or if the see you in their they will ask for their money or call the cops. You knew you were getting it cheaper then the price it sells for so it's basically you stole from them. so if I were you I would not go into that Best buy ever again. The security guy probably knows who you are now.

They could have actually done both ... making the active perspective a sunken button (darker) with a slight raised frame around it and kept the inactive perspective raised (lighter). You could still push or slide depending on your whim.

I do , I have 140Gb of Photos from my DSLR (and previous digital cameras) putting this on 3 discs rather than 40 discs would be great
I also have 28Gb of music, backing up form itunes to 1 disc rather than 8 would also be useful
So why not just use an external HD?

Awesome, to make enough time for this lets just forget everything after the Great Depression because it's not like that junk matters as much as gays being persecuted. Seriously, the Holocaust and the Rape of Nanjing are totally trivial events compared to the Stonewall riots. We should totally drop coverage of the bombing of Pearl Harbor to make room for a lecture on how NAMBLA doesn't represent gays. Hmm, no iTMS updates here in the UK as of yet. Hopefully that fact and also that the webcast is being broadcast in London as well suggests that the UK might get a piece of the action too :)
I hope that the Movie Store comes out today but I think that purchase-only will be a bad idea. There has to be the option to BUY and to RENT movies, otherwise I don't think it will succeed given the cheap price of DVDs these days. But having the ability to rent appeals to the impulse buyer who just wants something to watch that night, which is probably me - I would go looking for a new release movie that I want to rent to watch that evening, that's it.
The other thing that I'm desperately hoping for is cheap prices for older movies. If you go down to the video shop to rent a movie, new releases are £3.50, older releases £2.00 or less. I want to see the same think on the movie store. So if I feel the need to watch "Mrs Doubtfire" again one rainy afternoon, I can rent it instantly for a couple of pounds. Same with purchases - you can get 6-12 month old DVDs for £5 on Amazon.co.uk - iTunes needs to reduce the price of older movies to stay competitive.
I also hope that in some way it will be integrated with the iTunes Music Store - for one reason: I have loads of iTunes credit and I want to be able to spend it on movies too!

Sorry, during which year of medical school do doctors receive gun safety training? How many hours of coursework on home safety do they complete? The typical MD is no more qualified to discuss these matters than any bozo on the street with more than an ounce of common sense. If they really want to help their patients child-proof their homes effectively, providing a helpful checklist would far more effective than interrogating parents.

The perk is only 200 bullets into an enemy chopper for Hardline pro (I think that's the one, but maybe not). You could have just caught him in one of the 2 lives that it would have taken him to achieve this.
If you want a good team, you have to have a group of at least 4 friends that are serious about the game, all with mics. I've realized this during my short time span with this game and MW2.
I've recently been tearing people up with 4 good friends every other night or so for 3 or 4 games of "Headquarters."
I will say I am not happy with all the bugs in this game, which is why I'm not playing more. The parties of 3 or 4 of your friends, usually every 1 out of 3 games, you lose at least one player and have to back out and start again. Then, there's the losing connection to server and connection interrupted.
I like the game, I really do, I like the differences in the maps and the amount of maps that are available, but there's some times where I just get so pissed off that I turn it off in the middle of the game. Especially when I get into a lobby with ALL 3/4/5/10th prestiges and I'm just a lowly first prestige.
Either way, anyone with a ps3 that is "decent" with the game, friend me @ "DUBVMOUNTAINEERS"
