Demi Lovato’s mother showed her support for the teenager while she was in rehab by going under the needle to get a matching tattoo.
Demi checked into a clinic last year to deal with a number of personal issues, including an eating disorder, self-harming and bipolar disorder.
She was so overwhelmed by the support of her fans while she was in treatment, she had the words “Stay Strong” tattooed on her wrists as a permanent tribute as well as a heart inspired by her fans. The 18-year-old has now revealed her mother, Dianna, surprised her by gettng a matching heart inked herself.
In a series of posts on Twitter, Demi writes, “My mom’s #staystrong tattoo! She got one too!… My mom surprised me with it when I was in treatment because that’s how all you guys were showing support… And she wanted to show me how… proud she was of me for getting help and changing my life.. I love her so much.”
Demi’s mom isn’t the only one that got the heart tattoo as well. She followed up with a tweet saying, “OH! AND.. @m_callahan, @lisamorrisshow and @JennaSchubart got it too!!!! I love them so much!!”

The 18-year-old Sony with a Chance star recently posted a video to her fans to show off her new tattoos. In the video, she reveals tattoos, ?Stay? written on her left wrist and ?Strong? written on her right wrist- plus tiny hearts at the ends of the�black�cursive script to represent the love for her fans. Demi Lovato took to her twitter to release a statement, saying:
?I wanted to show you guys that I will never forget the support that you gave me and I will look at it every day and remember you?and be completely thankful for you. Just thought you guys should know that. I love you.?
Demi Lovato had stopped tweeting after the supposed physical altercation with her back-up dancer, and did not send out one tweet to her fans for her entire two month stint in rehab.

People need to understand that there are some legislators who might want to push legislation favorable to us. They can only do it if they can convince other legislators who are on the fence that:
1) A lot of good people are affected by this. (legal,peaceful,high skilled etc) The crowd there(YOU) on Tuesday will speak to this.
2) They mean business, if we do not act they might leave and we need to act NOW to keep them here.(if many thousands of them can come from all parts of the country, they must be serious)
3) These guys have the support of their employers.(they got/took/were allowed time off from work)
Now in these points, can you see how a friendly lawmaker can use a big successful march to convince his colleagues? This will be like a massive tonic to all the lobbying IV has been doing behind the scenes.
Last year when hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants took to the streets did you see the impact on legislators? One big difference here is we are legal. That will leave a more powerful impact if it is big.
This is a small price to pay, and it will help you tremendously to speed up the green card process. Lets show solidarity. Every one of us who goes to this will feel proud of the change we manage to bring. If this makes the national media in a big way, I am virtually certain we will get a favorable resolution to our issues. A lot of forces are with us here. Just look at the 13 governor signed letter. Just look at how hard the big high tech. companies are pushing this.

Here's our situation:
Both of our GC applications were filed in EB3 categories, by our individual employers, independent of each other.
My priority date is Apr 2002. My 140 is approved and 485 was filed in 2007 and is currently pending.
My husband's 140 is also approved and 485 was filed back in 2005. His priority date is Sep 2003.
Is there any way now to link both our applications, so he can take advantage of my earlier priority date without him having to withdraw his 485 application?

1)How easy it is to transfer H1's to another company? What documents I need?
The process of trasfer is same as applying new H1. Only thing you need paystubs from the existing employer to trasfer H1.
2)Is it possible to convert back to h4? I have 2 kids so I might have to convert back to H4 from h1 if I cannot take the stress.

I am wondering if there is a potential issue for the applications filed between July 3rd to july 17th. This is the period when everything was in limbo. Is there any disadvantage for these folks?
So far I haven't seen anyone getting checks cashed or recipted in this period. We do see July 2nd notices comming in.
I had my 485 application received at NSC on July 3rd. And now we are hearing that they may transfer cases to TSC if I-140 was approved from there. Another delay! This wait is getting me restless.

My husband recieved a transfer notice for his I-485 from TSC saying that the
"Preliminary Processing of the application has been completed, and it has been transferred to USCIS office at Lee's summit , MO 64064. The office will notify you when they schedule an interview on the application."
I am the primary applicant and I am on H1. My husband was on H4 and now he is on EAD. My PD is July-04. Is any body in the same situation as me and received such transfer notice. I am really anxious about this. Please let me know is it somethign to worry about and what I take for the interview when I am called.
I will greatly appreciate any help with this.

Just work with your attorney and employer who filed your 140 to send them the info/letter they need with details on which client you worked for and when, etc.
BTW isn't I-485 for a future job ? How does the current work location matter ?

I gave my 3rd FP for pending 485 last week. Haven't seen any LUD change since. My NC was cleared last year as per USCIS. My question is after every FP, does FBI initiate a new name check? is this a vicious circle ?
No, I went for my 2nd FP last week. I asked USCIS (800#) the above question.
It is done once. Looks like FP and Name check are different processes.

I love no. 2, 3 and 4.
2 for the dynamic composition, 3 just cracked me up because the percussion instruments are so domineering and 4 seems pure concentration. 2 and 4 could maybe be cropped slightly, but that's very minor.

This is my second renewal, first time did it online it was smooth! This time the online process seemed little different, they were asking for few info at a time and we got to click the continue button...I was just doing fine and was waiting that at some point it would show the complete application for me to review, but I got to the last page and said something like "Submit" or "Finish" and I did ...everything was ok got the confirmation....OOPS, left the date of last arrival blank! Had put the Port of arrival correct, but left the date blank!

If the PWD is for a PERM application, there is no way to avoid using the DOL system. (NOTE: for H-1 PWD the online DOL system is NOT required).
There is no provision for expediting PWD's through the DOL online system. However, in typically unfair DOL fashion, it seems that PWD requests submitted in mid February are being approved in about 30 days or less while many submitted earlier are still languishing. So, submitting a second PWD request now might get you a PWD sooner than waiting for one submitted in January.
Another issue of concern about the new PWD system is that it has been generating wildly arbitrary determinations some of which reference SOC codes and experience levels different from those on the actual PWD request.
That's useful to know thought it was just mine that was taking forever. My PWD request was submitted January 27th. 9 weeks later still waiting. Should I just wait in the hope that my company's lawyer is keeping track and knows to submit another PWD request?

According to my experience it doesnt make a difference whom you contact. I would suggest contact all (both senators of your state and local congressperson). It has no negative bearing on your case. I would also suggest
that you contact the ombudsman. You never know whats going to click in the end.
